sevengardens is a globally active network that empowers people to change themselves and society and to contribute to a more sustainable world. This begins with the collective production of colors from plants and the creation of dye gardens.
In these gardens, inks, textile dyes, artworks, cosmetics, wall paints, colorful medicinal teas, colorful food, and much more are created together. The aim is to playfully rediscover and experimentally explore knowledge and cultural practices that have almost been lost in the course of industrialization. -
What is the effect of sevengardens?
The method strengthens confidence in one’s own abilities and in the power of collective action. It also changes how people perceive industrial production and their relationship with nature.
In this way, sevengardens inspires enthusiasm in children, parents, grandparents, people with migration backgrounds, educators, professors, students, and many others – from the smallest backyard garden to the executive floors of companies.
As a global Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) network, the sevengardens method has an impact in political, economic, educational, therapeutic, academic, craft, and industrial contexts. -
