• Daniel Sartor - sevengardens Team

    Daniel Sartor

“It would be great if there were a sevengardens online shop where you could buy all the materials and tools we use in our workshops – and which strengthen the sevengardens network.”

When Peter Reichenbach and Jessica Färberkind first told me about this idea in spring 2024 and asked if I would like to implement it, I was skeptical at first. Could I do it? Would I be able to pull it off? Fortunately, my initial skepticism didn't last long. The idea of trying something new, being creative, and becoming part of the sevengardens team ultimately convinced me to take on this project.

In our shop, we only sell selected, high-quality products that have been extensively tested in our workshops. Products from our own production also undergo a multi-stage quality control process. We deliberately avoid clearance sales, surplus stock, and B-grade goods. It is particularly important to us to source our products as sustainably and regionally as possible – or directly from our worldwide sevengardens network partners. Our team is always open and approachable when it comes to innovative products or European producers.

We are proud of what we have achieved so far and still have many ideas for the future.

  • Peter Reichenbach - Gründer von sevengardens

    Peter Reichenbach

Peter Reichenbach is a German artist, cultural philosopher, and initiator of the sevengardens project, which focuses on ecological education and artistic work with natural dyes. He has become widely known through his work with dye gardens and the production of natural colors. His work brings together environmental protection, sustainability, and art with educational approaches that raise awareness of nature and its resources.

Reichenbach’s work is based on a participatory educational model in which people learn how to produce colors from plants and other natural materials in workshops and collaborative projects. The aim is both to preserve traditional color-making techniques and to promote ecological and sustainable practices.

Through the sevengardens network, he connects people around the world who are interested in similar projects and supports the exchange of knowledge between different communities.
