Pulp fibers are fine fibers that are obtained from wood or other plant-based raw materials. They are the main components of paper and cardboard and ensure the stability and quality of the paper. Our pH-neutral papers are made from pure cellulose fibers, which means that they have a neutral pH value. This makes them very durable and ideal for working with vegetable inks.
No, standard printers are generally designed for paper with a weight between 60 g/m² and 120 g/m². It is important to note the maximum weight your printer can handle, as paper that is too heavy can damage the printer or cause paper jams. You can find the exact specifications in your printer manual or on the manufacturer's website.
The papers with a grammage of 100 g/m² are already suitable for watercolor work. However, a slight rippling may occur, especially if the water is used heavily. These papers are well suited for smaller projects or exercises where a certain amount of rippling is unproblematic.
300 g/m² papers are ideal for watercolor work. They offer better stability and significantly minimize rippling. In addition, all common wet techniques can be used with these papers without any problems, and both papers are also ideal for hammered leaves. For this technique, however, we recommend the papers with a grammage of 300 g/m², as they enable better processing and a more elegant result.
Delivery is rolled for logistical and financial reasons. However, all papers are stored flat. We have deliberately opted for a comparatively large shipping box so that the papers do not have to be rolled too tightly. We recommend that you remove the papers from the shipping box as soon as you receive your parcel and store them flat. This way, they will quickly return to their original shape.
