The Dyers' Child® INK KIT is your universal and eco-friendly solution for dissolving and reviving natural pigments, transforming them into brilliant inks ready for endless applications.
The kit includes highly economical materials that allow you to create about 17 oz / 500 ml of vibrant ink!
Each kit comes with:
1. The Dyers' Child® Natural Refluid Medium
100ml of Soarce's very own TeraSolv™ product in a glass bottle with pipette. TeraSolv™ is a mixture of organic acids made entirely from fruits and vegetables.
2. Instruction card
With lovingly hand-drawn steps and clear written instructions to guide you with ease through the process of ink-making.
3. Free online tutorial
Special QR code featuring a password that grants you access to an exciting free online tutorial.
4. Lake pigment sample
Color depending on availability (1 TSP).
5. Gum arabic powder
Resealable packaging ensuring freshness (70 g).
6. Vials
3 vials with excellent thermal properties and exceptional clarity. Each vial comes with a screw cap and a secure seal to prevent leakage.
7. Mortar and pestle
Made of porcelain so that it is not damaged by organic acids during ink production (unlike wood or metal).
8. Measuring spoon
Size: 1/4 TSP
What you will need:
The set is designed to work wonderfully with lake pigments. You have the option of buying high-quality pigments or making your own lake pigments.
To maximize your artistic potential, I recommend making your own pigments. This is a great way to explore your own individual palette of colors. Online tutorials for making lake pigments will be available here soon.
For best results, use a small digital scale for precise measurements and reserve the measuring spoon exclusively for the pigments.
Use distilled water if possible, but tap water is usually sufficient depending on the water quality.

Shipping is carried out by DHL and includes shipment tracking. Delivery time within Germany: 3–6 business days. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight during the ordering process and displayed before the order is completed.
